The earthquake is coming

During my childhood I had many dream jobs, first of all I wanted to be a dentist, but with the time I started to hate the biology so I left this idea, then I wanted to be a detective but I don’t remember why I didn't follow this option. During my adolescence I didn't have many ideas about what to do with my life, so I started to search different careers and I found Public Administration, the career that I’m actually studying.  

Another career that I think it was very interesting was history and seismology, but I finally decided for Public Administration because it was a mixture of many matters like economy, history and law. My experience until now is very good, I made very good friends and I learned many interesting things.

In the future I want to be diplomatic and to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A little about me

Hello! My name is Hernán Romo Gutiérrez, I was born on 8th June of 1998 in Santiago, Chile and I'm a student of second year in the degree of Public Administration at University of Chile. At present I live in La Florida with my mother named Angélica, who is speech terapist, the same as my stepdad, also named Hernán, my stepsister Carolina who is a nurse and my little brother Joaquín who is a student in the school.

I did my elementary and high school studies in the same school, the Antupiren school and now I'm very happy at University of Chile, where I study a degree that is interesting and useful.

My hobbies are reading science fiction books and listening to music, especially English rock music.

Cellphone

If I had to decide for just one piece of technology, I would choose my cellphone. This little piece of aluminum was a Christmas gift from my parents last year because my old cellphone was very slow and ancient. I use my cellphone every day for a lot of things, like seeing my social networks, chatting, searching for information or playing games, but the most important thing that I do with it is to listen to music, if my cellphone couldn’t do that I would probably choose my MP3 player.

I like my cellphone because it keeps me connected with the world, in a few seconds I can know how someone is or what it’s happening in the world, besides all the things that I said before.

Life without cellphone would be very strange, I’m too accustomed to use it every day, so it would be hard not to have it to use it anytime I want.
